Witchlight

This, the Witchlight, is all that remains of an old attempt to settle the island of Devil's Elbow. After a long spate of bad luck and the eventual suicide of the settlement's founder, the village, and subsequently the island were abandoned.

Let me tell you. This map was a job. It's my first real foray into doing organic environments (IE wilderness/terrain//environment) and while I'm still green in that area (pun possibly intended) and it's still a little more structured than it really needs to be, I'm pretty satisfied with it. The whole map is sized for a 50x50 grid. I don't like building maps on that small a pixel size as it tends to muddle the textures a bit but my computer couldn't handle doing a larger scale version (given that the map is quite dense)

And oddly, my computer couldn't really handle doing the map at the size I did it at. I had to break the village up into separate PSDs anyway.

Now for credits:
- Wood textures from Greytale and Grimcatch at Dundjinni
- Stone wall textures from Cisticola (I think, it's hard to tell) from Dundjinni and myself
- Stone floor tiles from Neyjour.
- Mud textures from Cisticola.
- Grass and cliffs by Bludragn from dudnjinni
- The muddy paths are Supercaptain's dirt road overlay from Dudnjinni
- The path edges are dblade's rocky step overlay from Dudnjinni
- I believe the bushes that I made quite a use of are by Kepli from Dundjinni
- The rocks used are forumLurker's large rocks from Dundjinni
- I'm not exactly sure to whom the credit for the trees should go. I think they are lingster recolors on trees made by Surfbored, still taken from Dundjinni.
- The tropical plants I believe are lingster's from Dundjinni.
- House roofs are De passage's Naboo (yay for Star Wars) roofs from Dundjinni. Though I did recolor them and added overlays to re-texture them a bit.
- Speaking of which, I used Bludragn's dirty overlays on the roofs and stone floors. 
- Roof holes are either straight up Bludragn's or Aegean mods from Dundjinni.
- All of my doors are Greytale and Heruca's from Dundjinni.
- Other odds and ends came from dundjinni as well.
